User Review for Motorola L6
It came at the wrong time
Aug 25, 2007Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Easy to use, slim, light, durable
Cons: little memory, laggy messaging, battery life, camera
Opinion:
Motorola let the L6 come onto stage while the spotlight was still on the Moto RAZR. Bad timing I must say since the RAZR beats this phone anytime.
I use the VGA camera to take pictures of just products at a furniture shop and such, but I can never see the detail. It was 2006 when I got it, and 2MP camera phones were at its height.
It has only 10MB (if I'm not mistaken) of internal memory, no external memory port whatsoever. I can hold around 100 text messages in my inbox without any photos or music.
The messaging process is so slow. You think you sent something? You are wrong! It takes such a long time to send messages even if there is full signal. But, I must admit I have seen this with many other Motorola Phones.
The Batterly life of my phone is usually 3 days when I don't text message or anything. But if I go out and text message all day, my battery is gone within 4 hours.
When I first get a product, I never bother to read the instruction manuals unless I really need to, and with this phone, I barely touched it! Its incredibly easy to use, and the menu is always clean.
Its slim since it is only 11mm! Its like a barely-there phone!
