User Review for Nokia 3250
Average phone for average people
Nov 3, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Excellent speakers, nice camera
Cons: Mainly no flash and 3G
Opinion:
This is an okay mid range phone for the average consumer. Got it in march but sold it in april because of the problems below. Easy enough to adapt to but the new symbian platform on this phone is super irritating. Doesn't support plenty of programs and the games really suck. Joystick will rust and that's a -ve point for people who don't trade in with service providers but sell it at second hand phone shops. The pop-port is at the side which makes it really inconvenient to charge and use usb cable. There is a rubber cover which can be removed and easily lost. This makes the phone really ugly with the pop-port showing at the SIDE. Really ugly. The size is okay and it's not too heavy. Battery life is quite lousy as well 3 days max with low use. The speakers are wonderful 100 percent good stuff but eats the battery like crazy. The camera produces some decent shots AFTER transferring to your PC. The battery cover material sucks, easy to get scratch and collects fingerprints. People with sweaty palms should NEVER get this phone. Your phone will look like crap after you use it with sweaty hands. The USB connection is not stable and the PC suite really is not sensitive to your phone's presence. Colour scheme of the exterior is lousy, just buy the completely black one for both gals and guys. Camera has no flash and the MicroSD slot is hot swappable but it's in a really awkward place, at left base of the phone after twisting, see video. The 3G is not a big problem. It's just an average phone. You can expect a great deal from the speakers and camera shots in the DAY. Night shots really suck. I don't recommend for demanding users as well. The fuctions are average and it's a fragile phone.
