Apps on phone memory only?
Jul 1, 2009 03:57 PM
Is it true that Android allows applications to be installed only on the phone memory and not on a memory card?
If so, how much free space do you think will be available after boot?
Also, Can this be changed by a new ROM update later?

Looks like a technically better Android phone. But does it have an accelerometer, because in the HTC video, its always on the portrait display position. Does it have a landscape display mode?

Accelerometer seems to be a stand issued item in a smart phone. Pre "Sense" Android phones already spotted accelerometer. you can get a better hands on
www.youtube.com... or visit HTC UK website for the product demo.

Nope, DivX has yet to release a mobile player for the Android platform. the DivX mobile player is still in beta at this stage, and since Android is an open source, it wouldn't be long before one will be made available.
There are however rumors of the next Sumsung's Android (not I7500) to have DivX playback capabilities.
