Nokia N97

Impressive Specifications

Wow. The Nokia N97 is one heck of a mobile device. Impressive specifications to rival all the top end phones in the market.

iphone who?

32GB onboard storage,card slot,16:9 widescreen,GPS, touchscreen,slide-out qwerty,5MP Carl Zeiss,A2DP, connectivity,3.5mm audiojack,fm w/rds,stereo speakers,tv out,proximity sensor,accelerometer,Ngage games... what else do you want,baby? iphone and Xperia killer? you bet!

MY FIRST REAL DREAM PHONE COME TRUE

Ok, I am assuming it has tv out, But honestly . . . 5 megapixels?? why? Why not 8? I mean the only other things anyone could ask for besides speed (and perhaps teleportation) is 8 megapixels or greater and a flush 3X (or greater) optical zoom.

reply to EarSugarz

EarSugarz the N97 uses dual led flash.

Well, still have to wait for a few more months before we can get a touch of it.
By that time, 4" screen with HD camera is in line.

Wakey Wakey

Ah.....finally Nokia is planning something in the lines of "todays device".
But as we had experienced, with the announcement and real launch of N96 16gb....their problem is too little too late.
Launch delays means that competetion already has superior products in the market.
HTC Touch HD is 3.8 inch isn't it. So since Nokia's model was yet to be announced the day we came to know about Touch HD, they could have planned a 4 inch model straight away.
Anyways, atleast Nokia seems to be wakeing up finally to the needs of modern day consumers.
Nokia's ads are however more advanced and appealing than their line of current products.
Wish their production and design team worked as hard as the ad team.....
Lets see when N97 finally sees daylight.....and brings Nokia out of the dark if at all...

repeat after me... Nokia N810

Everything looks cool and nice, but seriously, why launch a phone with the specs of the top of the line N series ( think cool black chassis of N96, N95 ) in a N810 (en.wikipedia.org...) chassis. If this phone goes for the same price of N96, then this white body makes it looks kind of cheap.

How about experimenting with more innovative materials such as aluminum, glass or an entirely new product that is greener and more eco friendly ?

Hey... no fair...
