the fat phone again?

sure it looks sharper than the previous model while borrowing its skin from the 'diamond' but with a screen size almost a QUARTER of its entirety, who cares even if sports a new look & updated specs. who'd want to buy this gadget anyway? a waste of space.HTC S740

The HTC S740 smartphone is probably the the sleekest & cool looking smartphone to date. However, I understand from some mobile phone dealers that the Windows operating system somehow is not very stable, is there any truth to that?Secondly, I would also like to know if I can download free GPS (Garmin) software into this phone & utilise it without any issues?
I have to choose between the Nokia E71 & this (although the phones are completely different), and Garmin software works very well with the Nokia E71. The HTC kills the E71 in terms of looks & design.
Please help me decide, TQ....Gary
