Motorola Zine ZN5

I think i just found my next phone

I am a mac user, and advocator, I strongly believe in Mr Steve Jobs and the magnificent team up at 1 Infinite Loop .Cupertino CA

I wanted an iPhone since it was launched, and now that it has finally been announced in Singapore that Singtel will be getting it in September (while the rest of any other developed countries will be getting this July)

I am having second thoughts about owning one, when my sister, my cousin and my classmates wanted one too. I took a look around the train i was on, and realized, many already own one, or wants one.

The only real reason why i wanted an iPhone is because it should have only been reserved for the "different" crowd. but it looks set to be the next 3310, or N95, everyone has it and i mean everyone....

What's the point of that anyway. until this baby comes along. i have been a great MotoFan and i lost faith in it as they decided not to upgrade themselves.

This little baby has 5 mp, wifi, smaller screen though and not a touch screen, but hey... i think i can do without some fancy must haves and trade them in as long as it does not become the next load of bread.

pathetic effort

even equipping it with a 5MP Kodak camera but doesn't come close to the picture quality of Nokia-N82..

Did we read the same review ferdiei??

It reads that the Motorola Zn5 is an even better option to Nokia N82 for imaging. Here is a quote right from the review you linked. "As far as image quality is concerned it’s one of the best solutions you can find out there, and it’s definitely ahead all other mass-market phones"

Did you even look at the 120 people who looked at pics taken by N82, Zn5, & K850? An overwhelming majority picked the Zn5 as having taken the best pics.

Wow...you need to comprehend what you read a little better.

I'm not sure if the chart on 120 people is accurate. The picture comparison between ZN5 and N82 in the same review seems to show otherwise, i.e that ZN5 pictures are not as sharp and tends to be darker than those taken by N82. Maybe the chart was based on images seen in the phone displays. The review did say that ZN5 display has better color or crispier (something like that). So it may not necessarily mean that the images taken are better.

I tried this product last week, it's superb !! User friendly and best picture quality. Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson are no competitors to this one.

Review needs to be more in depth

The person who did this review didn't even compare pictures from other 5 MP phones or 8 MP phones, all they did was compare it on how it looks when viewed on the phone. the real test should be un-edited pics from the phone when seen through the PC compared to ther 5 MP or 8 MP phones. I doubt that this phone would compare to the Renoir, INNOV8 (he compared this phone by looking at the view screen and not the raw file), PIXON and the C905. I can't believe they even posted a half baked review!

Higher resolution doesnt mean that the picture would look better. Well I guess we should just give motorola a chance.

what?

i trust my eyes more than what people says.

although the above review was done to benchmark the N82, recent developments in camera imaging for cellphones are more sophisticated than these 2 now. so what the heck will stir interest for this now?
