Nokia N82

Not bad, Nokia

Though I was expecting much more, this release would be a nice one. It should have had at least a bigger screen than the N95 considering that it has built in GPS in it. I admire the addition of xrnon flash. Finally a new innovation in Nokia mobile phone photography.

Nokia N82 camera vs N95 camera

I have been told that the camera sensor used in the N82 is exactly the same as the one used in the N95. The only difference between the two phones in terms of the camera is the addition of the xenon flash on the N82. So, if i am right, both phones are equal in terms of the camera quality.

Do not buy any Nokia phones.

They do not have any one to one exchange policy even after your phone is faulty after just one day. The defective equipment will be send for repair and you may wait for up to 5 days just to get it back. No compensaton for the travelling or waiting time and the customer care centre are not helpful at all. Try searching in forums for Nokia complaints and you will know what i mean. I was naive and really regretted purchasing a Nokia phone, hope this warning helps.

Sharing the same sentiments.

I bought my N82 on 16 Feb. Had to be send it for repairs on 18 Feb (less than 3 days). Nokia care simply produces bad quality phones. really regretted getting it. Its my first Nokia phone. Up till today, nearly 4 weeks have passed and Nokia is still telling me that they do not have the parts needed for the repairs. Its really disappointing. The queues at Nokia care centres are really long. It goes to show how much problems they're having. Nokia handset quality has been declining ever since Sony Ericsson came along. That's the truth. While Nokia is able to push mobile technology ahead. SE phones was able to take it one step further by stabilising what ever is good for users in terms of software and the components used. To all mobile phone users - please wake up and stop buying Nokia. Even Nokia's stocks have been falling steadily in recent years. Just take a look at how many people are using SE phones compared to Nok phones nowadays. Really regretted getting N82.

Which Store Did You Buy N82 From?

Hi JHLoke,

I've heard a lot of stories of handphone vendors cutting corners or doing funny things to the phones so that it helps to increase their profit margins by reducing the quality of its internal parts...hardware and software...such that customers will never know...

Kindly please advice which shop (name and location) did you buy the Nokia N82 from?

Would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Choose the best store to buy your Nokia Phones

I have my favorite store down here in the Philippines. I always buy my phone there. They have this 15-day replacement Policy which is I find really really cool! I never had a defective phone from this store ever. Everytime I decide to change my phone, I just go there and purchase one. I am one happy customer everytime. Now, you should look for a store like this in your area. A store that sells quality and "untouched." Just so you know... :)
