Nokia E51

Hi,

I disagree with Damian comment in his review that black colour does not attract fingerprints like the rose steel version.

I had the black colour and it attracts fingerprints easily. The phone look "smudgy" all the time. I sold it and looking forward to white steel version which hopefully will not be fingerprint magnet.

Nevertheless, the E51 is a great phone.

Hmm, I guess the severity of the fingerprint issue on the Rose Steel and Black Steel is dependant on how tolerant the user is as well? We had both units and the general consensus was the Black Steel one was less prone to fingerprints.. I'm not sure if the White Steel one will be available in Singapore (I'm assuming you are staying here) because, according to Nokia, only the earlier two hues will be available..

function over form ?

Slim phone with all the connections you require ?

if finger prints are a problems ,no one would get iphones.

at less e51 has better connections compaired to iphone

SAR?

This is my first choice to replace my current phone.
But the only thing I really concern is the SAR level reported at 1.34. I even have seen the detail report and it doesn't look good. There are a lot of scenario resulting in 0.9 to one point something.

As comparison, E90 is only zero point something (less than half of this mobile).

Is SAR something that really important?

Hi Damian.

Yes, I managed to get the white steel version from a retailer. Way better compared to the black, looks classier (imo)and finger prints not obvious.

That's great! Personally, I'd still stick with the Black Steel version because I think it looks more elegant, but that could be just me.. One of the requirements when I buy a phone is I must like the phone first, specs can come later..

Chinese input?

Does the Singapore edition allow you to read/write Chinese?
