Is there a GPS in dopod d810? Do I need a separate GPS receiver? I couldn't find anything about GPS in the user manual. Or I missed it!! By luck only I found something about GPS when I scrolled thru the camera menu. Can anybody enlighten me, please?

You can't see it, but it's there

The GPS feature does not show itself until you start some GPS application. So, unless you have something like MapKing, the GPS feature remains dormant.

Hi John! Kindly inform, if the battery is out and i do not charge it for a long time (for example 3 months), will my present setting dissapear and back to default setting? Or it writes into hardisk like computer and mantain all setting?
I have this HP 6300 series, it can not write into harddisk to i will need to backup and restore the setting if the battery run out, very unconvenient. What about DOPOD D810? Thank you for your info!
