Sabotage
Sep 9, 2007 10:14 PM
In 2007 products by huge world corporations are just designed to fake you into believing that it will work.Deception after deception, I think I can not see anything else then marketing strategy to lure us for $.
I have 25+ years in electronic design of high reliability elctronics. I am so used to do reverse-engineering that I smell the engineering/marketing intentions just by looking at a product.
I was astonished on who far these corporations go into sabotaging their product's hardwaare, batteries, connectors, ergonomy, software... you name it.
I now feel ashame of saying that I am an electronic engineer.

It's like McDonalization! The fast food chain has a huge variety of burgers, but they are burgers all the same. There's hardly any significant differentiation between each of them even though people are still suckered into biting into one. To a certain extent, I have to agree with you on the marketing aspect. In this time and place, it's all about who promotes their products better, and not really whose products are better. It's not really a consumers' world out there, yeah?Jump to page: [1]
