Review Summary

Panasonic's top-of-the-line recorder boasts eye-popping recording quality, but its programming guide may pose a setup challenge with some cable systems.

A decent upgrade from a VCR but the lack of digital tuner means picture and sound quality of free-to-air broadcasts are not improved.

If picture quality and convenience are all that matter, StarHub Smart TV and DVR settop box are the ideal recording solution for you.
