The best value
Jul 8, 2005Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
For a low budget like I had to buy this kind of machine, it is the best I could choose from all I have seen.
-Easy to use
-Fast reponses (rec, play)
-Fully supportive of advanced features of DVD-RAM
- 3 S-video input sources
Although I already have a DVD burner (double-layer recorder) on my home computer for archiving and DVD duplications, I wanted a home DVD recorder for my favorites TV programs, and at the same time, to replace the VCR which will be moved into my child's bedroom.
I give it 9/10 because it still lacks the input select button on its front panel... What is the purpose of a 1-second record on power on if you can't find the remote control around because you have to change the input source quickly, then press the record button?
Because of its very specific recording format
