RDR-HX750 Play-back problem

I have an unusual problem.When I record a program on UKTV ONLY and play-back the recording I can observe the signal information dashes at the top of the screen for half the width.
This does not happen on any other recorded TV channel on play-back. Any advice would be appreciated.
