Loewe launches artistic HDTVsThe new Loewe Art SL-series is hailed as the slimmest HDTV range featuring extensive features and onboard components within the German company's current lineup. These luxury panels have relatively sleek bezels starting at 89.9mm wide and are available in quality chrome silver and high-gloss black finishes. Furthermore, you'll have a choice of four mounting options, including a floor stand with integrated equipment rack (image below) and a table top equivalent with rotating function.

However, they do have a humble 10,000:1 dynamic contrast, though this is easily overshadowed by an impressive feature set and connectivity options. Standard offerings out-of-the-box are HD broadcast-ready DVB-T and DVB-C digital TV tuners, a powerful 80W six-speaker audio subsystem and three HDMI inputs. The Loewe Art SL models are also hard to beat in terms of it expansion flexibility and upgrade options. You can add optional components such as a 250GB DR+ DVR, BluTech Vision Blu-ray player and a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder module. The latter will be a perfect companion for Loewe's Individual sound projector and subwoofer pair or the full-fledged Sound+ 5.1 cinema system to deliver a cinematic experience. The Art 42 SL Full-HD+ 100 and Art 47 SL Full-HD+ 100 are now available in Singapore from S$6,199 (US$4,564.03) and S$6,799 (US$5,005.78), respectively. No updates were given on availability elsewhere in Asia. Tags: German company, digital video recorder, projector, HDTV, Loewe Art SL-series |
