Features
Under the hood of the AT3705 is an ultra-high-resolution, 1,920 x 1,080-pixel LCD panel compatible with 1080i video signals. It has an average contrast ratio factor of 800:1 and is capable of putting out 550 ANSI lumen brightness. These figures are complemented by a 12ms response time and a competent 176-degree viewing angle which guarantees image legibility for group entertainment.
The Acer is also a rare gem in the market with an integrated digital tuner. For those fortunate residents with digital video broadcast, the terrestrial tuner brings to the table the convenience of an electronic program guide plus 5.1 Dolby Digital (DD) sound. The latter can be reproduced via the onboard DD decoder and speakers or a full-fledged home theater system through the TV’s digital audio output.

We have seen TVs laden with a myriad jacks and sockets, but nothing comes close to what is offered by the AT3705. There are a total of 11 inputs covering just about every imaginable format found in consumer electronics. The list includes High Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection-compliant HDMI and DVI terminals, two sets of HD-ready component-video sockets, a PC input and four SCARTs (convertible to composite-A/V with bundled adapters).
