Jun 24, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Easy set-up, excellent color definition, crisp images.
Cons: Bulky remote, pricey.
Opinion:
Read the reviews from a variety of sources, decided to take the plunge and cough out a good amount of dough. The result--worth every cent I paid. Fair amount of customable settings, but the standard setting worked to be the most authentic. Would recommend it to anyone interested in the future HD broadcast reception as I think this LCD is well suited for that. Normal cable reception is not bad but the true strength is in HD. Can't wait for that to happen. Enjoying it all the same. Got mine with extended warranty and free bracket so it worked out to be less painful in the wallet.
Best of the Best and you must get it

Cons: I honestly can't think of a single con.
Opinion:
This LCD TV by Sony is the TV everyone has been waiting for.
The price is extremely reasonable compared with other LCD TVÂ’s on the market and the screen size of 40inch is also a great size to experience the visual effects on.
Unlike Plasma TVÂ’s, this TV is great for gaming (PlayStation, Xbox ect) The 8ms response time is fantastic. I also use it as my PC monitor with my wireless mouse and keyboard, itÂ’s truly an amazing television.
I recommend this LCD TV to anyone who wants to invest in a high quality set that will not degrade in picture quality like Plasmas do. ItÂ’s perfect for playing games, viewing TV, watching movies in high definition, using as a PC monitor and viewing family photoÂ’s either through your computer or directly through the USB port provided on the side of the TV.
If youÂ’re thinking about getting a large screen TV, this is the ... Read more
