The bad: 200Hz mode is bad; poor off-axis viewing.
The bottom line: The LG 42LH50YD is a very capable television with a smattering of features, but don't buy it simply for the 200Hz mode.

Not Good as advertised
Oct 31, 2009Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Good Looks,Plenty of Features
Cons: Judder when 200hz is turned on,24fps not smooth
Opinion:
I was very excited when i first got this set,LG was promoting it massively when the transformers 2 movie was out.Soon after,my excitement diminished,i tried this set with many of of DVD collections and also a few blu ray movies, there was some noticible juddering and also the 24fps was not as smooth.I contacted LG hoping for a firmware upgrade, but they told me there was not any...
Also i have read some AV sites which state that they have the same problems in their 200hz sets.
