CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Good blacks and sharpness; crisp sound; 29.9mm ultraslim design; four HDMI inputs; wireless media streaming; Web-based Yahoo widget support; built-in digital TV tuner; bundled with two remotes. 8.6
out of 10View score
The bad: Blacks not as deep without local dimming; mild brightness uniformity issue; slightly recessed side inputs; YouTube no search function; pricey.
The bottom line: The stunning Samsung UA46B7000WM is a cutting-edge connected TV with a solid visual performance to boot.

Excellent picture quality and remains cool during usage...
Nov 7, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Picture quality; Design; Energy saving
Cons: Sound a let down but...; Single component in; Only has optical out
Opinion:
The picture quality from my Draco HD set-top and Starhub's digital Hubstation (component connection) was superb. Playback from my Philips Bluray player was also excellent.
Sound was poor, but adequate for normal TV viewing; but who watches HD content without a surround set-up?
Can play most HD video files natively through the built-in USB (powered HDD supported as well), but the sound formats are frequently unsupported though - how unfortunate! Hope a firmware upgrade comes along soon!
The optical audio out becomes necessary when playing AV files thru the USB in.
low QC

Jun 30, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Super picture quality, life like colors, contrast far superior as compared to any other flat panel TV
Cons: glossy finish makes it a dust and fingerprint magnet. Sound is a bit subdued
Opinion:
I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago and got an amazing TV at a fantastic deal from www.sumaria.in I think its the best investment i have made in a long time. The TV is not just a master piece on aesthetics but its picture performance is also truly brilliant. I am sure other brands would have to do a lot to come up with some thing better
