CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Class-leading blacks and color saturation; fluid motion reproduction; bassy and articulated loudspeakers; full 1080p24/50/60 video support; three HDMIs, onboard JPEG playback; extensive tweaking options; dedicated input buttons for remote. 8.6
out of 10View score
The bad: Fixed tabletop stand; extremely pricey; less-than-optimized PC display resolution.
The bottom line: The Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX508G is the undisputable class leader in black level and color vibrancy. However, these attributes aren't twice as good as its peers to warrant the highly inflated pricing.

Never saw a Phasma TV can provide such good DARK/BLACK color
Jan 3, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Better than all LCD's TV in the market, have a lot of color controls (ISF)
Cons: Pricey; No smaller screen than 50inch
Opinion:
If you talk to someone who're working in the manufacturer of flat TV (LCD or Plasma), it's very hard to produce a TRUE dark image. To increase 10% bright is easier than to do more 2% dark. Pioneer's engineer obviously did a good job in here.
It has every thing
