The bad: Black crush due to strong backlighting; moderately effective noise reduction; stain magnet.
The bottom line: This 100Hz Philips Ambilight is both easy on the eyes and feature-packed. That said, we felt it could have done a little better in picture quality.

Pros: Affordable, Okay Picture Quality
Cons: Volume differences when switching
Opinion:
Philips 47PFL9532 (47-inch LCD) has good value for money. It has an okay picture quality, with a nice Ambilight effect which sets the mood. If you are not particular about brand, or a high picture quality, and if price is a factor, this LCD TV is for you. The only set back I see is the subtle volume differences when changing channels, which might be due to the channel itself.
I have seen this personally and I love the picture quality
