Opinion:
Once I got over the fear of banding which I had read was associated with Sharp LCDs, everything was fine. The price for this unit is more consumer friendly than Samsung and way more than Sony. I love all my Sony products, but the cost for a 52 inch was off the chart. The Sharp Aquos picture is amazingly perfect. Ease of use - simple. Any delay in channel surfing which is suggested in other reviews is unfounded - msut be related to the cable provider, not the tv.
I am a sports nut...if it has a ball or a puck, I watch it. This LCD is perfect.
