The bad: Mild banding; noisy TV and DVD reproduction; uninspiring design.
The bottom line: The LG 42LB1R lived up to our expectations for delivering beautiful HD pictures and bassy audio, though its standard broadcast performance left much to be desired.

very nice brightness
Jul 10, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: beautiful colors, detail, love the Audio
Cons: side speakers make it look huge
Opinion:
I really loved this screen have had it for quite some time and I think it is the closest to the Sony X-series, for its price, liked the double tuner function with the picture index (channel scanning) option, the Audio is beautiful specially the bass sound, if you really want the best out of it connect it to a PS3 and see what it is really capable of...I was kind of surprised to see that the editor's grade was a 6.7 I really think it deserves more than this, at least for its audio, I give it easily an 8, not to mention the beautiful design.
