Very good HDTV at cheap price in 2007.
Feb 12, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: HD and upscaled DVD images looks fantastic. Plenty of options for picture tweaking
Cons: No PIP.
Opinion:
This REGZA is a solid performer for the delivering HD and 720p/1080i upscale DVD pictures. The 6 colour base management is good for further tweaking the picture quality.
Price for this has dropped below $3k. Overall THIS is a good buy for a 42inch HD ready LCD TV.
Don't be fooled by it 800:1 contrast ratio. Many brands are overstating their contrast ratio for marketing purposes. If you compare side by side you will see this REGZA have a better picture quality or equal those with higher contrast ratio.
