Really amazing picture

Pros: Incredible pictures, almost too good!
Cons: Black level not as good as the picture detail
Opinion:
I looked at many different plasma and LCD TVs but when the new Philips LCD 42PF9830 finally came in the stores, I was hooked! Having had one now for a couple of weeks, I can say that the picture is really amazing. The new Pixel Plus 2HD technology does everything they claim it does. Even the Starhub Digital Cable picture is great and playing a DVD on it is awesome. When I say it is almost too good, I mean that when you are watching a normal TV show that is done on film, it takes some getting used to because it looks so different than what you are used to seeing. It almost seems unnatural. Maybe it will not appeal to everyone but I really enjoy it. Also, the unit itself looks great even when it is turned off!
