The bad: Extremely expensive; no 2:3 pull-down in the video processing; no independent memory per input; Ambilight adversely affects onscreen color perception; scales 720p sources incorrectly.
The bottom line: This extremely expensive set includes a unique backlight, but its picture quality was the most pleasant surprise.
