contrasts ratio for the Sony KDL40X3100 and the Samsung LA40F81BDX

Sony lists a dynamic contrasts ratio of 18000:1 for the KDL40X3100 and samsung 25000:1 dynamic for the LA40F81BDX. Please clarify how the sony wins here according to your review ??? im in the market and dont realy want to change my mind at this late stage.....RE: contrasts ratio for the Sony KDL40X3100 and the Samsung LA40F81BDX

By the way, remember these are just theoretical figures for quick comparison and there is no industrial standardization on dynamic contrast measurements. So higher doesn't necessarily guarantee better performance.
