xvYCC - Also referred to as x.v.Color by some manufacturers such as Sony. This standard defines a color space that has 1.8 times more red, green and blue covered under the standard sRGB range. This allows a much wider spectrum of hues to be captured and displayed by electronic devices such as HD camcorders and HDTVs.
