The bad: Costs as much as a PS3; front-panel controls are located on top of player; PC streaming setup is difficult.
The bottom line: The Samsung BD-P3600 is a huge leap ahead for standalone Blu-ray players, with blazing-fast operational speed, tons of features, and excellent image quality.

fantastic images and sound, but pricey
Jul 21, 2009Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Nice 7.1 channel with True HD decoding. Picture and sound both fantastic
Cons: Glossy looks nice but hard to maintain. Pricey.
Opinion:
like the fact that i can output up to a max of 7.1ch.
netflix and pandora seems only available for US customers.
in anyway BD live and 1080p images are good enough to keep me glued to my movies on screen.
lip sync problem
Jul 3, 2009Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: beautiful picture
Cons: a.a
Opinion:
wonderful pictures but big lip sync problem. connected directly via hdmi cable to samsung la40a680m1m tv. tried various setting combos but to no avail. firmware upgrade improved sync a bit but also locked the player to dvd region 3 only. tried 2 bluray and 2 dvd discs.
