Neat

Pros: Eliminate cables running around, good for small and regular sized hall
Cons: The sound tends to cluster around the speaker
Opinion:
This All-In-One single speaker system is neat as all the front, centre and rear surround speakers are enclosed into a singlebox. I have tried and listened to such speakers in proper acoustic showrooms but still find that it lacks the distinction, clarity and dynamic sound as one gets from the normal 5 or 7 speakers system.
The speakers being in close proximity with one another, the sound seems to be mixed up due to the overlapping of the sound wave. The most obvious one is the centre speaker for vocal.
My above views are my assessment while listening in a proper enclosed music room. Can one imagine how the sound would be like if it is played in a normal hall.
With the retail price of USD978 (S$1499), one is able to get a 5 or 7 speakers that produce much better and distinct separation of sound which I would rather go for. ... Read more
