More commonly known for its popular plasma TVs in recent years, Japanese brand Pioneer was, in fact, an established player in the A/V industry. The company was particularly instrumental in the optical disc players business with a strong lineup dating back to the late 1970s. Some of these key products included the world's first DVD recorder, CD/LD player and unique CD/LD/DVD combo equivalent. Pros: Good surround effect and sound quality.
Cons: remote Not user friendly
Opinion:
I have used for classics and pop music on DVD and it has a superb sound reproduction.
For HD format movies its fantastic

 

great looks, outstanding sound possebility's

Cons: the manue structure is a little complex
Opinion:
fine appearens with great features, nice playing with Pioneer's best Blu-ray disc payer BD70a and for all music formats the allround player DV-LX50
