Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Deep bass, HD pass-thru and upscaling, speakers look good!
Cons: Stereo performance lacks refinement, HDMI picture quality a tad grainy, main unit looks 'old fashioned'
Opinion:
Overall I would say this is a smart piece of kit (and I bought it!)

Picture quality seems better via Component out rather than the HDMI. At 576p the HDMI quality is surprisingly better than at 1080i.

Sound quality is very decent with the bass sounding deep. But beware, if not positioned right, it may sound too boomy. 5.1 surround sound output is also very good. However, on Stereo mode you can feel a slight lack of refinement (compared to a dedicated stereo Hi-Fi)

Aesthetically, the 7D is very pleasing (especially the front L/R speakers on stand-mount). However, the AV unit might look too old fashioned for some.

Pros: sound sharp, nice design & blu ray connect
Cons: no wireless & just 850w
Opinion:
This is one of my latest set. my latest plan to try another brand. sound a bit better on DVD's than USB. better for home theater rather than music. For sound i give 9/10 because bass did't distort and treble very sharp while play DVD. overall i satisfied with this set match my last brand.
