Passive subs actually sound good

Notice one thing about lower-end HTIBs? They all have no LEDs whatsoever on their subwoofer units. This is simply because at lower RMS levels, a passive sub will do the job. This set, the SC-HT330, has slightly edgy-sounding vocals and insufficient midsection detail, but for that price, you can enjoy just enough bass. Who knows, with a little tweaking, like I did, you may even get it to sound pretty damn decent.
