User Review for Sony PlayStation 3

"The best gaming console ever..."

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Bluray Player, Great Games software, Free online gaming, Internet Browser, easily to size up HDD, mutimedia device, Wifi
Cons: Somewhat bulky, Dust magnet, not support DTS HD 7.1
Opinion:
PS3 is the best gaming console ever. PS3 not only as gaming console but also multimedia in our home with cheap price if we compared the value we get (US$399 for PS3 40GB and Bluray player and multimedia device).

There are many great games (Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Uncharted Drake, Heavenly Sword, Call of Duty 4, Folk Lore, etc) and promising games title such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII, exclusively on PS3.

Also we can play online for free using PSN (Playstation Network) unlike others, Xbox360. Soon, there will be "Home", Playstation online community, where we can meet others on 3D world (simulation like "The Sims series".

PS3 can also be used as Bluray Player, next gen DVD, which delivered crystal clear image and sound using HDMI.
And please be noted that PS3 is the only Bluray player that can be updated easily using internet connection to the newest bluray profile (recently profile 2.0). The little concern as bluray player is it's not support DTS HD 7.1 (only 5.1) but it's not a big deal for me.

As i mention above, that PS3 can also be multimedia device that can store music file, video, and photo. And can be connected with PC using LAN connection or wirelessly (Wifi).
If your HDD capacity is running low, you can also backup it to portable storage device using USB connection. Also if you think the size of HDD on PS3 is not enough, you can also easily swap it with new 2.5 inch HDD (same as notebook HDD).

Conclusion: If you want gaming console that also a multimedia device with have such many added value, than PS3 is the right choice for you.
