The slim is nice but no its not as pretty as the original....I just dont get it when you say fingerprint magnet?? I mean its a console not a handheld...the same with t.v.s they are meant to sit there not to be handled "maybe unless you grew up before remote controls :-) "...But the slim is nice would have been better if they would have kept the sexy grown up modern look....

The export set in Singapore cost $479. Cheapest by far is $470.Local set will be up on the shelves by the end of September, and estimated price would be $499.
Since this PS3 slims comes with a dualshock controller, it's worth every penny to get this. I think Sony has brought the aspect of PS2 slim to good use.
And I don't think the new finish looks cheap. Prefer it over the "fat" PS3. Will be getting the local set once it's available.
