DTS via optical

Hi all,I don't think there is a problem that there is no HDMI input. In such case you need to get yourself a proper A/V Receiver. Simply connect PS3 video via HDMI to TV and via Optical to (DVD)Receiver.
The problem however seems to be that this system does not allow DTS via optical! Is this correct? Does anybody know?
