Connecting Denon AVR 3808 to Windows Media Player

I am trying to play music playlists on my computer which are in windows media player 11 files. I am able to play internet radio stations but cannot get the music on my windows media player 11 to play on the Denon receiver.Denon USA does not support any Windows portion of the set up which appears to be where the problem lies. In windows media share I have the Denon Icon with a green check mark. Fire walls are turned off as is the network UPNP and all songs are not copyright protected.
Does anyone have a step by step guide for this connection??
