Onkyo 875 VS Denon 3808
Jan 12, 2008 01:06 AM
I am really having trouble deciding here.Anyone have thoughts on either of these?
I here 875 better for Movies but runs very hot
and I have Mirage M-5 speakers at 6 ohms..
I also saw in reading that trouble with Onkyo
and contacting and getting warranty problems solved.
Would like to know if anyone who has either could
give postive on negative response..
Thank You Joe in NJ

I AM GREAT FAN OF ONKYO AV PRODUCTS AND BOUGHT MANY OF THEIR AV RECIEVERS OVER THE YEARS.I NEVER HAD NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM.AS FOR THE TX-SR 875,I HAVE FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS.LET ME TELL YOU THIS,YOU WONT FIND A BETTER RECIEVER ESPECIALY WHEN ITCOMES TO PRICE,IN A WORD ITS A STEAL.DESREGARD THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE UNIT HEAT PROBLEM.WITH THE MIGHTY WATTAGE ITS NO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER BRAND.I LIVE IN DUBAI,AND YOU KNOW HOW HOT ITS HERE,STILL NO PROBLEMS WITH ONKYO,EVEN WHEN ITS IN USE FOR HOURS.BOTTOM LINE JUST GO AND GRAB ONE,YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE XPERIENCE,TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.Jump to page: [1]
