Review Summary

When the X5000 works, it's among the very best home media centers we've ever played with. It's not, however, perfect for design and implementation.

The NDP9200's sleek design and video performance are praiseworthy highlights. If it had better remote and wireless support, this player will be a surefire hit with today's connected AV crowd.

The MCE DMA2200 is probably the best media streaming device we've ever tested. It's a shame you can use it with only Windows Vista, but for those who want to send media from their PC to their TV, it's the ideal solution.

The smaller cousin of the 2200 is surprisingly more interesting than you'd expect, although it's still somewhat eclipsed by the streaming capabilities of other units.
