The good: Affordable; multiple drive bay options; onboard wireless LAN; long battery life; good set of connectivity options.
The bad: Slightly bulky; sluggish performance; integrated graphics card, basic configuration comes with only 128MB RAM and CD-ROM drive.
The bottom line: The Latitude D505 offers budget users a good mix of price, features and battery life, though its lackluster performance will restrict the laptop to basic everyday applications.
