The good: Lightweight for a desktop replacement; 15.4-inch, wide-aspect display; impressive battery life; Secure Digital slot; top-notch keyboard.
The bad: Lacks DVD burner; skimpy one-year warranty.
The bottom line: The Presario X1000 series offers most of the creature comforts of a desktop PC in a lighter package than you’d expect.
