The good: Large, bright, sharp screen; CPU power to burn; good battery life; fast 3D graphics, speakers go loud.
The bad: Pricey; bulky.
The bottom line: Beauty or beast? The Toshiba Satellite 1950-A740 is one of those things that people love or hate. It will gain a diehard niche following for its raw multimedia power, but others will think the bulk makes the exercise futile.
