The good: Leading-edge performance; top-notch graphics and screens; built-in Wi-Fi; dual pointing devices; great keyboard.
The bad: Big and heavy; high-end models are expensive; no doors to protect PC Card slots.
The bottom line: If you have the need for speed and all the features of a desktop PC, look no further than Dell's Inspiron 8200 family of desktop replacements, which excel at everything except portability.
