The good: Large display; good build quality; feature-rich.
The bad: Bulky; software quirks; minor stability issues.
The bottom line: Barring a few software problems, the Xphone is a commendable effort for cell phone newbies Microsoft and O2. It is well worth considering if you're looking for a high-end phone that's on the same wavelength as your Microsoft desktop.

My phone has been working good for more than 1 year and after the upgrading of firmware its functions have improved.

Excellent, just what I need

It has seamless effortless synchronizing to MS Outlook, which means anything I type on my laptop, like a new contact or appointment, jumps through the USB cable and updates the Xhpone immediately and vice versa should I punch in something onto the phone on the run. The USB also charges the phone... Video records audio, too, which not all phones can do, and the SD/MMC is the best memory due to their being up to 2gig cards and they're inexpensive (Sony Ericsson and other phones that use Mem Stick Duo are held to 128meg max... Some of my mp3s are 500meg!!!) Flight mode!!! Hooray, enuf said... With a 2gig SD card I could listen to mp3s for 24 hours+. The battery actually lasts like a normal phone, even though the screen is bigger than most. Windows Smartphone 2003 is easy as pie to use and navigate. I set up my pop3 emails and web and even my MSN! The home screen is brilliant in default mode where your last 5 utilized items are at the top and you can joystick across them. The start button is synonomous with Windows and is a winner here with all you need stemming from it. Upcoming appointments are displayed on the home screen as is the status of the phone. It's all there. You can joystick down to your upcoming appoinment and click on it and go straight to the calendar. So simple, but just like desktop Windows, there are several ways to get to each thing. Only 2 problems so far and there may be solutions but I can't find them yet... 1) You can't copy SIM contacts onto the phone; and 2) when in an appointment, it does not switch to silent automatically, yet I am sure it can... Overall, fantastic phone. I am buying another just as a backup as this model has been superceded by the Xphone II. But I like the look and feel of this puppy. I'm a fan...
