The good: Lots of functionality; well-designed user interface; bright, clear screen.
The bad: Expansion is via MMC rather than SD card; keys are awkwardly positioned for one-handed use; only 4MB of on-board memory.
The bottom line: The SX1 is a well-made Symbian smartphone with an unusual design that may not appeal to all. It’s a bit short on internal memory, too.

Terrible
After 10 months...
by Loke - Nov 04, 2005

Well, here I am 10 mths later after getting my SX1. There seems to be a problem with Symbian OS phones. Not too long ago, my SX1 started to hang and was taking extremely long to start up and even to access some applications. Can't send sms, can't delete msgs. It was like cancer. Had to sell it off. It seems like the main culprit was the software. If U take a look at those reviews or comments on this site about other Nokia phones, Symbian seems to be the cause of it. I strongly urge buyers to think twice about getting a Symbian OS phone. Can someone explain why on earth there is a Nokia folder (C:/ drive) in a Siemens phone?

Good: Nice features, more user-friendly than other models. Seldom hangs.
Bad: Little memory space, takes a little more time to sent out MMS.
