The good: Excellent battery life; attractive price; pretty design; FM radio; adapter for 3.5mm headphones.

The bad: No GPS; proprietary connector; lackluster software bundle; no text input application for one-handed use.

The bottom line: For a first attempt, LG has gotten it mostly right with this model, thanks to its good looks and extremely competitive price.

Pros: Good looking - easy to use
Cons: 2mp Camera - Need to download a keypad for single finger typing
Opinion:
Just bought this phone yesterday and i think its amazing. Good price, and id 100% recommend buying one.

 

small and light with great features

Cons: Non mini-usb connector
Opinion:
I have been waiting for this device for a few months and i am delighted to have it. I can only think of 1 drawback (and it is minor): the non mini-usb connection (seems to be an LG standard.

Personally, I noticed two other challenges with this device but these are my personal reflections and not criticisim of LG: your device gets smudged when you use the touch screen with your dirty fingers, and i miss a keyboard.

Pros: look
Cons: plagued by numerous problems and is barely usable, even to place phone calls
Opinion:
This device is plagued by numerous problems, and many users in Europe (where it was first launched) are returning them for exchange :
- the micro becomes mute when switching between 2G and 3G
- many applications do not work, especially because of GAPI and DirectDraw graphics API bugs (SPB games, PointUI, ...)
- many device locks while browsing using PIE
- many locks while powering on the device: you have to sometimes wait more than 1 min before being able to use it, and most of the time you will have to soft reset
- about the soft reset that you will need to frequently do (my count is already 209 according to the device after less than 4 months, and it is not even accurate since I tried several hard resets to see if the problems were due to some installed software...): when the device is unresponsive, the only way to do a soft reset is remove ... Read more

eelin: Go to Settings->System->Regional Settings. Set it to English (Australia).
