impressed

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: easy to use/manage, excellent display, good battery
Cons: small keypads
Opinion:
this is my first blackberry, i got this set from my employer and i am impressed by the convenience brought by blackberry. Push Mail is certainly great for people who live with email on second-by-second basis. This blackberry device has improved and probably better stylish design as compared with its predecessors. i didn't opt to have a blackberry mainly due to its design and look. however, i will give this 8700g a whistle.

In terms of email function, i used to access my email from my O2 XDAIIi, well, i have to say that this blackberry performs much better than XDAIIi, thanks to push mail.

well, anyhow, blackberry is still not suitable for those who do not need to be followed by emails.

The best of the Blackberry's

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Nice screen, Battery life, User friendly, Fast
Cons: Cramped Keyboard, Limited 3rd part s/w available, No MP3
Opinion:
I'm a Blackberry user of a few year so this is my 3rd generation unit and I love it. This is the best one by far.

I upgraded from a 7780 and this unit is significantly better. Easy to use, great screen (the best I've seen in a Blackberry), nice long battery life.

It has all the functions of the previous models with better graphics and a few nice useability features.

The speed has also been ehnaced significantly and is much faster than prevois models.

Bluetooth is a nice editionfrom my previous handset although other models do have it.

I know this is meant to be a corporate device but an MP3 player for me would round it off nicely.

Highly recommened. I use mine for all my email accounts. Got it from Singtel for around S$700 on a 2 year plan.
