The bad: No Wi-Fi; relatively slow processing power and battery life.
The bottom line: HP's latest iPaq has what it takes to compete with the O2s and Treos in the PDA-phone market, but not without some tradeoffs.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAP!
Feb 23, 2007Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: WINDOWS BASED COMPATIBILITY
Cons: EXPENSE, NO SUPPORT,
Opinion:
Please do not waste your time with this. Since my initial purchase, Cingular has replaced my IPAQ 5616 and now 1 year later the phone won't power on and Cingular no longetf carries the product or its battery! Since I have contacted HP who has notified me that I am out of their warranty and will charge me $49.95 just to perform the diagnostics on it. So $500 bucks later I would NEVER recommend this unit!!!!! Buy a TREO or BLACKBERRY!
only last for a few months

Pros: gprs
Cons: not user friendly
Opinion:
i bought this phone at 12-dec-2005 and sell my treo650.
1) phone book menu:
in the phone number field, if you key in 10 numbers, the first 3 number will be automaticly braket which is annoying.
2)if i want to search name from phone numbers in the contact, i need to exit and go to program->"find" (treo 650 has a seach button on the mini keyboard where i can search immediately.
3) sms function:
if i want to reply messages it open with a blank page which you will some time forget what to reply. (treo 650 is using "chat method" sms)
4)batt drain out less than a day.
5)gps = useless
bought this phone becose of the gps, but very dissapointed. i am using "mapking" it come with the package. the movement is far behind, i am moving in the car (without v-kool film).

Feb 28, 2006Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: got everything i need
Cons: none
Opinion:
i just bought my new 6515 for a month and it works like a charm i can arrange meeting, schedule, email, etc...
as for many say about the 240x240 square screen if you intend to use it for business and not for playing games it is not a big problem. if you like it buy it if not better buy another mone.
