HTC Touch Cruise
User Review for HTC Touch Cruise
It's early days, but so far I'm extremely pleased
May 20, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Look, feel, size, functionality
Cons: Didn't ship with WM6.1, needs a landscape desktop stand
Opinion:
I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now, and it's taken me a little time to get used to not having a qwerty keypad, but it seems in landscape mode, with T9 on, I'll not miss my qwerty. I sure appreciate the thin profile of this puppy.
I've used copilot around the city, and it needs a few more features (text to speech so it calls out street names, and speed cameras as well), but the display, and connection are fantastic.
Battery life no issue. I haven't tried a video call yet, but enjoy the high speed email downloads. The display is impressive. The ipod interface is a bit slippy, but with a little fine tuning in the software, will be great.
I'm anxious to upgrade to WM6.1 to bring it to the next level once it's released on this model, but as I say in the headline, I'm very pleased so far. :)
