Review Summary

The Canon EOS 400D remains a very good first dSLR, but ultimately a disappointing followup to the 350D, which cedes its lead to the Nikon D80.

The GF1 is a very appealing choice for enthusiasts and users who wish to upgrade from a point-and-shoot.

The TX1's slim body and design will appeal to the fashion-conscious crowd, but some users may not like the photo quality.

Olympus second effort for Micro Four Thirds camera feels somewhat half-hearted, but users who wish to try their hands on this new format will find the E-P2 an attractive choice.
