Pros: Powerful zoom, superb image quality, no-frills interface, good battery life, good HD video
Cons: A bit heavy due made of metal and made in JAPAN (not a con)

Cons: lens cover feels a bit delicate, index finger may block flash while holding
Opinion:
This camera is truly worth every penny. Pics reasonably noise free contrary to common perception about lumix cams.
